Welcome to our 2009 catalogue of rare
and unusual bulbs containing many exciting and interesting items. As
always our aim is for customer satisfaction, service, quality of stock
and good measure. Gift bulbs are included with every order regardless
of size.
It has been a fantastic spring for the daffodils, with the cooler
weather bringing out excellent colours in the blooms, as well as
extending the season into October. Our spring garden display was the
best we had since commencing our Open Gardens.
Many new varieties of daffodils are included in this catalogue. Some
varieties however, are in very short supply this season. Order early to
avoid disappointment. Our rare bulb range has also been increased and
we trust
you will find something exciting for your garden.
Most Spring flowering bulbs especially daffodils are very drought
hardy, requiring no water during summer and early autumn, preferring
their moisture from May to October.
The number (in brackets), after the name of the daffodil indicates the
relative time of flowering. Number 0 being the earliest - around June:
and 6 the latest - in October. We do recommend that people who live in
areas which experience a dry late spring, purchase daffodils that are
coded between 0-4.
Stock listed in this catalogue is available until mid May 2009 unless
otherwise stated or sold out. Please advise substitutes in case an item
becomes unavailable.
Payment may be made by cheque, money order or by phone using your
credit card, (see order form for details). Cultural notes are supplied
with each order and bulbs are despatched from the end of January.
Please be patient with our backlog of early orders.
